Zero Gravity Dance Company is pleased to offer a Dance Exam Program. The BATD is a Council of Dance Education and Training (CDMT) Validated Awarding Organization.

Dance exams provide dancers with the opportunity to receive feedback from experienced instructors, helping them to identify areas for improvement and grow as performers. By setting specific goals and working towards achieving them through the exam process, dancers are able to track their progress and see tangible results of their hard work and dedication. Overall, participating in dance exams not only enhances technical proficiency but also fosters a sense of discipline, commitment, and passion for the art form.

In the examination process, dancers are graded by an outside examiner and marked based on an international standard of dance technique. 

Zero Gravity proudly offers examinations in:
Ballet, Tap, Jazz , Acrobatics and Modern

 The B.A.T.D. levels progress (usually) as such:

  • First Steps

  • Pre Primary

  • Pre Bronze

  • Primary

  • Bronze

  • Grade 1

  • Silver

  • Grade 2

  • Gold

  • Grade 3

  • Grade 4

  • Grade 5

  • Grade 6 (ballet only)

  • Elementary

  • Intermediate

  • Advanced

  • Associate (teacher’s examination. Minimum age of 16 years old on exam day)

  • Membership

  • Fellowship

The  Dance Exam Program is ideal for any dancer over the age of 6 looking to enhance their technical knowledge, skill, and overall confidence. With continued education into the Professional levels the student will achieve Membership in one of the most Recognized, Largest and Oldest Dance Organizations since 1892.
